VICTORVILLE – Two Victorville men were arrested for the Thursday murder of Daniel Garcia, a 43-year-old homeless Victorville man. At around 1:20 a.m. several reports were made indicating that a man had been shot in the 15500 block of Hesperia Road. Deputies from the Victorville Station and emergency medical responded to find Garcia deceased.
Homicide detectives developed evidence leading to two suspects being identified. On Friday, June 20, 2017, at around 10:00 a.m. authorities made contact with Arthur Cerda, 34, and Luis Rios, 24, and took them into custody. Both suspects were interviewed and booked into the High Desert Detention Center for murder. Both are being held without bail.
