CORONA, Calif. – Corona Regional Center resumed normal operations approximately three and a half hours following a bomb threat. An unknown called a threat to the hospital on Thursday, February 28, 2019, at around 11:00 a.m. Hospital staff immediately notified authorities, who with police dogs searched for suspicious devices at the hospital located at 800 South Main Street in the City of Corona.
The public was asked to stay out of the area and ambulances were temporarily being diverted to other area hospitals. During the search no suspicious items or explosive devices were located, and the hospital returned to normal operations by 2:20 p.m.
