VICTORVILLE – A 47-year-old man was airlifted after a stabbing near the 7-Eleven in the 14500 block of 7th Street in the City of Victorville. At around 11:10 p.m. on Wednesday, July 20, 2016, deputies from the Victorville Station responded to the scene to find a single victim suffering from a stab wound.
The suspect fled the scene in a gray or black older model pickup truck, per scanner traffic. The victim was transported to Victor Valley Global Medical Center in preparation to be airlifted to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center for the treatment of his injuries.
“The victim was in critical condition but it is believed he will survive his injuries,” said Victorville Sheriff’s Station spokesperson, Mara Rodriguez. “At this time, we do not have a confirmed description of the suspect, no arrests have been made.”
