Ontario Woman Who Killed Her Two Children Placed Under Arrest

Ontario Man Arrested for Downloading and Distributing Child Pornography

Authorities are Seeking Information Regarding Fatal 15 Freeway Shooting

ONTARIO, Ca. – A 47-year-old woman who killed her two children, then attempted to take her own life was placed under arrest on Thursday, police said.

On Tuesday, August 20, 2019, Ontario Police responded to a home in the 500 block of East Tam o’Shanter Street at around 4:00 p.m, when a distraught father called 911. He told authorities that he had just come home to find his two children, a 4-month-old girl and a 14-year-old girl deceased and wife unresponsive. The mother was rushed to the hospital for treatment. The children were confirmed to be deceased at the scene.

Through investigation, a suicide note was discovered inside the home that indicated that the mother, identified as 47-year-old Linda Nguyen killed the children. The motive is not known at this time but authorities believe that Nguyen was suffering from depression prior to the incident. The cause of death for the children will be determined by the San Bernardino County Coroner.

Nguyen remains hospitalized but once medically cleared, she will be booked at the West Valley Detention Center for two counts of murder.
