VICTOR VALLEY – The result of Operation Desert Guardian showed that the funds and additional personnel hours did not go in vain. The Town of Apple Valley and Cities of Victorville, Hesperia, and Adelanto provided funding to go along with funding allocated by First District Supervisor Lovingood to make the streets safer by providing criminal suppression operations and high-visibility enforcement in the Victor Valley during the summer months.
These twenty operations; that used eight deputies (two from the four high desert stations), one deputy from the High Desert Detention Center Transportation, one dispatcher from Desert Dispatch and one sergeant from the Victor Valley Station began on Friday, June 2, 2017, and continued on Friday and Saturday nights ending on Saturday, September 16th.

- August 19th – Search Warrant served resulting in the seizure of over 300 various narcotic pills, approximately 20 grams of Marijuana honey oil and over $30,000.00 in cash.
