ADELANTO – A male pedestrian was fortunate to sustain only minor injuries after he was struck by a pickup truck Tuesday night. At around 8:43 p.m. Victor Valley Station deputies and emergency medical personnel responded to the report of an auto versus pedestrian collision on Highway 395 just north of Air Expressway in the City of Adelanto.
When the first responding deputy arrived they located the pedestrian in the back of the pickup truck suffering from only minor injuries. Victor Valley Station officials said that the man was struck after stepping into the oncoming traffic. The driver of the pickup truck was cooperative with deputies.
