RIVERSIDE – A 31-year-old South Gate woman was arrested in Riverside for drugs and Identity theft on Wednesday. At around midnight, officers from the Riverside Police Department responded to a local department store located in the 19200 block of Van Buren Boulevard for the report of a possible theft.
When they arrived they learned that Elizabeth Camarena, was attempting to use a credit card that did not belong to her to make a purchase. Police made contact with her and found that she was in possession of prescription drugs, marijuana, concentrated marijuana, as well as items consistent with identity theft.
Camarena was arrested and booked into jail for identity theft and possession of a controlled substance.
