MORENO VALLEY – Three Indio residents were arrested after robbing a business in the 25900 block of Iris Avenue in the City of Moreno Valley Tuesday night.
Authorities said that at around 10:50 p.m. the suspects entered the business, brandished a firearm, and stole the entire cash drawer containing an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspects then fled the location in a vehicle, which was spotted by officers near Cactus Avenue and Perris Boulevard. The suspects failed to yield and a pursuit ensued. The pursuit came to an end at the University off-ramp in the City of Riverside. The suspects, two men and one female juvenile were taken into custody without further incident.
Evidence connecting the three to the robbery was located. The suspects were two males, 19-year-old Jerry Cervantes and 33-year-old Alejandro Arce both from Indio and one unknown 17-year-old female. All three are being charged with armed robbery and conspiracy to commit robbery authorities said. Cervantes and Arce were booked into the Robert Presley Detention Center and the juvenile was booked into juvenile hall.
