A Perris man was sentenced to 140 years to life in prison for the sexual abuse of two Chino children.
San Bernardino County District Attorney’s officials said that on April 12, 2018, Alberto Chavez, 29, was convicted of multiple charges for the sexual abuse. The conviction includes Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child-Sodomy, two counts of sexual intercourse or sodomy with a child 10 years old or younger, three counts of oral copulation or sexual penetration with a child 10 years old or younger, and two felony counts of lewd act upon a child.
Chavez sexually abused the two children multiple times over a period of 8 years in both the City of Chino and the City of Perris. Chavez was sentenced on Friday, June 1, 2018.
