PHELAN – A 53-year-old Phelan man was shot and remains hospitalized after threatening to shoot a Victor Valley station deputy on Thursday afternoon. Sheriff’s officials said that at around 2:14 p.m. a deputy spotted a vehicle belonging to a subject with an active misdemeanor arrest warrant in the 9800 block of Sierra Vista Road in Phelan.
