PINON HILLS – A 29-year-old Pinon Hills mother was arrested after a family member reported that the two children were left home alone on Tuesday, May 29, 2018.
A deputy from the Victor Valley station responded to the home in the 11900 Block of Arena in Pinon Hills at around 5:43 p.m. to find that the children, 9 and 4-year-old females in the home with marijuana, pipes, and other drug paraphernalia. All of the drugs and drug paraphernalia were easily within the reach of the children on table tops and inside a freezer. While the deputy was at the home, Amanda Quinn, came back home and was arrested for Child Cruelty. The children were allowed to leave with a family member. Quinn was booked into the High Desert Detention Center and later transferred to the West Valley Detention Center. She is being held in lieu of $100,000 bail. She is scheduled to appear at the Victorville Superior Court on Friday, May 31, 2018.
