RIVERSIDE – Riverside Police Detectives are seeking the public’s help to identify and/or locate the suspect who sexually assaulted a 9-year-old girl. The incident took place on Saturday, June 25, 2016, at around 8:30 p.m. at the K-Mart located in the 3000 block of Iowa Avenue.
Authorities said that the male suspect fled the area after assaulting the girl. The man was captured on surveillance footage and is believed to possibly be a Hispanic man. By viewing the footage they are unable to determine his age or physical build but can see that he was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and gray shorts.
