LOMA LINDA – A 49-year-old Pomona man was arrested on Thursday after the brutal assault of a man and for attempting to run two people over with his vehicle, officials said. On August 8th, during while patrolling the area deputies located a man down on the ground in the 10600 block of Poplar Street in Loma Linda.
Upon further inspection, deputies found the victim apparently assaulted with a large amount of blood on him. Through investigation, deputies determined that Lance Eugene Bobo punched the victim numerous times in his face. He also attempted to run the victim and another person over with his vehicle, authorities said. Bobo was gone when deputies arrived.
Authorities obtained a Ramey Warrant for Bobo’s arrest and on Thursday, August 11, 2016, Bobo was arrested at his home in the 2100 block of Spencer Avenue in the City of Pomona. He was booked into the West Valley Detention Center for Assault with a Deadly Weapon and Assault with Serious Injury. He is being held in lieu of $100,000 bail. He is scheduled to appear at the San Bernardino Superior Court Monday afternoon.
