HESPERIA – Deputies are searching for a missing Hesperia man and need the public’s help. James Moses is a 48-year-old diabetic and schizophrenic man. He is without medication at this time and was last seen by his uncle at the 24-Hour Fitness in Apple Valley on Monday, October 17, 2016, at around 1:00 p.m. Video surveillance captured Moses walking into and out of the building multiple times. He was last seen leaving at 1:45 p.m. walking northbound toward Bear Valley Road.
Moses stands 5’7” tall, weighs 182 pounds, has balding brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a white t-shirt and grey sweatpants. The family of Moses said that he normally take insulin for his diabetes and multiple medications for the schizophrenia, but has none of those in his possession. Moses is also known to enjoy talking walks in the riverbed area between Hesperia and Apple Valley.
The search is ongoing and anyone with information is urged to contact the Hesperia Station, Detective Pangburn at (760)947-1500 or Sheriff’s Dispatch at (760)956-5001.
