RANCHO CUCAMONGA – A Rancho Cucamonga man was arrested for unlawful sex with a minor on Thursday. Paul Figueroa, 20, was initially arrested on December 31, 2016, for unlawful sex with a minor in an unrelated case.
On Thursday, January 19, 2017, the information was received that there was a second 16-year-old female juvenile who was sexually assaulted by Figueroa, When the victim was interviewed, she told investigators that she was sexually assaulted by Figueroa several times.
An arrest warrant for Figueroa, who was out on bail following the December arrest was obtained. At around 2:00 p.m. on Thursday Figueroa was arrested without incident. He was booked into the West Valley Detention Center for unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor and his bail was increased to $500,000.
