VICTORVILLE – Women in transition are some of the most underserved and most lacking of self-care during times of financial distress. As women, they feel the need to resolve the situation in a way that makes the impact felt on their children and/or spouse minimal. While doing so, these women sometimes lose themselves in the daily care of others and in attempting to make ends meet. As she sets her needs aside, her beauty regime suffers, her “me” time becomes void and her sense of herself oftentimes diminishes.
The Reign Foundation is a faith-based, self-care nonprofit organization that provides assistance to women and families during their time of transition. Through transitional assistance, personal development, and mentoring the Reign Foundation sets to rehabilitate clients into society while enriching their lives for optimal potential. On Saturday, April 29, 2017, the ReignFoundation will host, “Crowned in the City” which will join female leaders in beauty, health, fitness, fashion, and faith to empower the personal and professional growth of women and girls from all walks of life. The self-care conference and gala will promote inner and outer beauty, value, and self-worth.
The event will be held at the beautiful Spring Valley Lake Country Club and will include an empowerment seminar and dinner sponsoring 30 disadvantaged women and girls. The event will feature shopping with vendors, community resources, and so much more. The diverse cultural event empowers women and girls to become all that they are capable of becoming, both spiritually and socially.
