SAN BERNARDINO – A 41-year-old North Hills woman was gunned down outside of a San Bernardino Cafe in January 2017 and authorities are asking for the public’s help to identify the suspects responsible for the shooting and ultimately her death.
Carmen Gutierrez-Rodriguez was murdered in the parking lot of Gaby’s Cafe located at 1641 North Mt. Vernon Avenue in the City of San Bernardino. When police and emergency medical personnel arrived, they found Gutierrez-Rodriguez suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to her upper torso. CPR was administered and she was rushed to the hospital, but later succumbed to her injuries.
San Bernardino Police released incident information and a photo of Gutierrez-Rodriguez following the shooting. Several citizen tips were reported to detectives who are investigating the case. Detectives learned that the suspect vehicle may be a metallic greenish-gray 1998-2002 Mercury Grand Marquis sedan. The vehicle was described as having tinted windows and chrome rims. The suspects were only described as Hispanic men.
