RIVERSIDE – A Riverside man and woman were arrested after being found to be in possession of drugs and stolen credit cards officials said.
At around 11:00 a.m. on Monday, February 26, 2018, patrol officers with the Riverside Police responded to a vehicle at a mobile home park in the 12000 block of Indiana Avenue. The vehicle reportedly had two subjects inside.
Officers made contact with the two subjects who were found to be in possession of heroin apparently packaged for sale, scales, money, and pay/owe” sheets, and drug paraphernalia. Numerous credit and debit cards that did not belong to either subject were also found in their possession. Through investigation, they learned that the victim had his wallet and phone stolen earlier in the week. The victim told authorities that his credit cards were used at local stores.
The suspects, Jason Hardy, 27, and Kathryn Rose, 26, were arrested and booked into jail for narcotics for sales, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of stolen property, and identity theft.
