RIVERSIDE – Two people were injured after an apparent Sunday morning attack, officials said. At around 2:37 a.m. the Riverside Police were dispatched to the 1400 block of University Avenue reference a report of shots fired. When they arrived minutes later they located a man and a woman in a parking lot suffering from injuries.
Both victims were transported to the hospital for treatment, the male with a gunshot wound and the female with blunt force injuries. The man is in stable but critical condition and the woman is in stable condition.
