RIVERSIDE – A bank robbery occurred at the U.S. Bank on Van Buren Boulevard and the Riverside Police need the public’s help to identify the suspect. Late afternoon at around 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 21, 2016, an approximately 50-year-old man entered the bank located at 19059 Van Buren Boulevard in the City of Riverside.
The man gave the teller a note that said he had a gun and wanted cash the Riverside Police Department officials said. The teller gave the suspect the cash and he fled the scene. The man is described as 5’4” and 175 pounds with brown eyes and a mustache. The suspect was last seen wearing a tan striped shirt, tan pants, a black hat with a white logo and a watch on his left wrist.
