USA Gas Station and Stover Avenue Murder Suspects Arrested

RIVERSIDE – Two suspects arrested for the USA gas station shooting and an additional murder on Stover Avenue, Riverside Police said.

Police have been investigating all leads after two shooting resulted in the death of two men over the weekend. Through their intense investigation, the police were able to find the suspects responsible for both incidents.

On Saturday at around 12:43 a.m. police responded to the USA Gas Station located at 3950 Tyler Avenue after gunshots were reported in the area. Three victims were located, one deceased and two others were transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The following day just after 2:30 a.m. the Riverside Police Officers responded to the 10300 block of Stover Avenue regarding a shooting.  Police located one man suffering from a gunshot wound lying in the front yard of the home. He was taken to the hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

On Sunday, homicide detectives along with the the METRO SWAT Team located and arrested two gang members. Riverside residents, 29-year-olds Jacob Gamboa and Victor Gastelum were booked into the Riverside County Jail for multiple counts of murder and attempted murder.
