RIVERSIDE – Authorities are seeking information regarding a homicide in the City of Riverside Thursday morning. At aroung 12:23 a.m. police responded to the 3300 block of Lime Street for the report of “shots heard”. Additional calls flooded in, all calling from the same general area.
Officer arrived to find a man suffering from a fatal gunshot wound. The man was confirmed dead on arrival authorities said. Homicide investigators responded to the scene to conduct an investigation. The victim’s identity will be released by after coroner investigation and notification of next of kin. No suspects are in custody and there is no known motive.
