Possession of any, even “safe and sane” fireworks is illegal in unincorporated areas of San Bernardino County San Bernardino County Sheriff Officials said. Fines for possession of fireworks carries a minimum fine of $1,250.
Other San Bernardino County cities also have firework laws set per city but County Fire officials encourage residents to celebrate the 4th of July at community events. Due to the fire hazards associated with fireworks, County fire officials are asking residents to report illegal possession or use of fireworks.
