SAN BERNARDINO, Ca. – San Bernardino County is reporting 111 confirmed COVID-19 cases in the County, with three deaths reported as of Monday, March 30, 2020.
The cases are reported in at least 23 cities within the county of just under 50 cities total. Yucaipa has the most cases reported with 18 cases reported within the somewhat-small city of just over 50,000 people. The cities which report five or more positive cases include: Yucaipa, Rancho Cucamonga, Fontana, Redlands, Rialto, Highland, San Bernardino, Upland, Victorville, Chino Hills, and Ontario. With one to three confirmed cases the cities of Barstow, Chino and Loma Linda have three, according to the County of San Bernardino. Bloomington, Hesperia, and Running Springs have two confirmed cases. Yucca Valley, Big Bear Lake, Colton, Montclair, and Phelan all have one confirmed case and two have not been linked to a specific city in San Bernardino County.
Two firefighters, two Sheriff’s deputies, and a mayor are just a few of those within the county who have been confirmed to have COVID-19. The highest age group of those testing positive for COVID-19 are those 18-49, with 49 cases. There were two reported cases of those 0-17 in San Bernardino County and 60 cases of those 50 or over. The County of San Bernardino is asking for the community to stop the spread and stay home unless you are purchasing food, washing laundry, working, or performing another essential task.
