SAN BERNARDINO– A 26-year-old San Bernardino man was arrested after brandishing a gun during a parking dispute near Duffy and Darby Streets in Muscoy on Tuesday. At around 3:08 p.m. dispatchers received a 911 call reporting a Hispanic man, later identified as Felipe Lopez confronted him over a parking dispute. While confronting him, Lopez brandished the firearm then left the location in a white Chevrolet Colorado.
Deputies from the Central Station responded and the Sheriff’s Helicopter (40-King) responded to the scene. Lopez was located near Mt. Vernon and 17th Street in the City of San Bernardino. A felony stop was conducted and Lopez was taken into custody and booked into the Central Detention Center for brandishing a firearm, felon in possession of a firearm and a probation violation.
During a search of the suspect vehicle a stolen Glock 9MM pistol and several magazines loaded with ammunition.
