LOMA LINDA – A 32-year-old San Bernardino man was arrested for the rape of a mentally disabled teen authorities said.
On July 8, 2017, at around 5:35 p.m. deputies from the Central Station serving Loma Linda responded to the home of the victim reference the report of a rape. When they arrived they were told that Steven Haley raped the 17-year-old mentally disabled girl and fled the scene. An investigation led to a warrant for the arrest of Haley. Haley was allegedly aware that authorities were looking for him, but did not turn himself in.
Finally, on Friday, September 8, 2017, Haley was arrested and booked into the West Valley Detention Center for Rape, as well as additional charges. Detectives are releasing Haley’s booking photo, anyone with information regarding this incident, or other incidents, is urged to contact Central Station at (909)387-3545.
