RANCHO CUCAMONGA – A 43-year-old San Bernardino man lost his life in a single vehicle traffic collision on Wednesday evening Sheriff’s officials said. At around 7:22 p.m. Christopher Brown was driving a silver Chevrolet minivan south on Cherry Avenue approaching Summit Avenue.
For reasons which remain under investigation, Brown crossed the double yellow line and drifted into the center median. The minivan slammed into the concrete overpass pillar causing it to overturn, for Brown to be ejected, and for the vehicle to catch fire. Brown was pronounced dead at the scene by 7:31 p.m.
