YUCCA VALLEY, Calif. – A 35-year-old San Bernardino man is wanted for attempted murder of a female victim.
On Monday, March 4, 2019, at around 6:57 p.m. deputies from the Morongo Basin department responded to the 6400 block of Avalon Avenue in Yucca Valley in response to a woman and kids screaming. When they arrived they made contact with the victim who told them that Gregory Brazee broke into her home through her daughter’s bedroom window. She was inside the bathroom bathing her two children at the time and heard the window close.
He walked toward the woman and choked her while shoving her against the wall. She felt she was beginning to lose consciousness. Brazee then punched her in the face, leaving swelling and redness authorities said. The woman headbutted him, and he let go. She then grabbed all three of her children and they all got inside of her vehicle. Brazee left the home when he heard the neighbors were calling the police.
The woman and children went to a domestic violence shelter. Brazee has not yet been located but has a warrant out for his arrest.
Anyone with information related to the investigation, or the whereabouts of Brazee, is asked to contact the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department Morongo Basin Station at (760)366-4175. Anyone wishing to remain anonymous may contact We-Tip at 1-888-78-CRIME.
