VICTORVILLE – Six juveniles eluded arrest following the vandalism of the Victorville 99 Cent Only store and two other nearby stores on Saturday night.
At around 9:56 p.m. citizens called 911 to report that six teens were throwing rocks at the store window of the stores causing the windows to shatter at the shopping center located at 12480 Amargosa Road in the City of Victorville. The stores with damaged windows include the 99 Cent Only Store, Hobby Lobby, and Office Max.
Victorville Sheriff’s Station spokeswoman Mara Rodriguez said that deputies arrived at the location within minutes, but the juveniles had already fled from the location. Deputies searched the area to no avail. The juveniles were described as three black male juveniles and three black female juveniles all between the ages of 13-16-years-old.
