VICTORVILLE, Ca. – The investigation into a series of vehicle burglaries led to a search warrant being served at a Hesperia home on Thursday.
The Victorville Police Department’s Gang Enforcement Team and Detective Bureau served the warrant at the home in the 7000 block of Third Avenue. The burglaries believed to have been committed by 27-year-old Nicholas Dennis in the Cities of Victorville, Hesperia, Fontana, Rancho Cucamonga and Chino Hills. During the search a large amount of stolen property was located including, but not limited to Laptops, power tools/storage bags, purses, digital cameras, jewelry, passports and identification cars.
During the search three firearms, a large amount of methamphetamine, heroin, and a marijuana extraction lab were also found. Some of the victims have been contacted and were able to identify and collect their stolen property. “There is still property that may be stolen but has not been claimed by any possible victims,” Victorville Police officials said.
Authorities said the suspect Dennis is already in custody in Orange County for separate burglary charges.
