MOBERLY, MO. – A 53-year-old Adelanto man died after he was struck and killed in Randolph County, Missouri on Tuesday morning.
Glen Alan Wear, also known by friends and family as “Butch” was driving when his vehicle became disabled. Sometime before 2:45 a.m. he got out of his vehicle and was standing in the westbound lane of U.S. 24, around a mile east of Moberly. A 2001 Mitsubishi Montero, driven by a 51-year-old Monroe City man was driving Westbound on U.S. 24 and struck Wear.
The driver called for assistance, and Wear was rushed to the University Hospital in Columbia, where he died just before 3:50 a.m.
