LOMA LINDA– A man arrested on child abuse allegations leads Sheriff investigators to prevent additional crimes, due to a search warrant discovery.
Sheriff Deputies investigating allegations of child abuse arrested Scott White, A 33-year-old San Bernardino Resident on August 19, 2016, on the 25400 Block of Pumalo Street, Loma Linda. While investigating the alleged child abuse an additional suspect was discovered and later identified as Naquesha Slaughter A 28-year-old San Bernardino Resident.
After the arrest of White, a search warrant was requested to obtain additional evidence for the child abuse case. On August 22, 2016, the search warrant was served, while executing the search warrant additional evidence was discovered confirming the child abuse allegations. In addition to the child abuse evidence, investigators discovered that suspect White and Slaughter were conspiring to commit other illicit crimes using stolen mail, credit cards, Social Security Cards and checks which were found at the residence.
Upon these new discoveries Slaughter was arrested and booked into the Central Detention Center for (PC 530.5) Identity Theft, (PC 484e) Credit Card Fraud and(PC 475) Check Fraud. White who was already incarcerated for the child abuse allegations was also charged with the additional crimes.
