FONTANA – A 14-year-old boy was arrested for the murder of another teen on Saturday night. At around 9:45 p.m. Fontana Police responded to a call reporting a stabbing in the 16700 block of Valley Boulevard west of Sierra Avenue. When they arrived they located a 15-year-old male outside of the Fontana Regency 8 Movie theater with wounds to his upper body. The victim was transported to the hospital where he died as a result of his injuries.
The 14-year-old male, who was found with a weapon; possibly used in the assault was apprehended not far from the theater within minutes of the call. He was booked into Juvenile Hall for homicide. Fontana Police officials said that the incident has been determined to be gang related.
