SANTA ANA, Calif. – A Santa Ana girl, on her way home from summer school at Century High School was brutally attacked and sexually assaulted.
At around 11:10 a.m., on Monday, June 10, 2019, the 17-year-old girl was walking home from the school in the 1400 block of South Grand Avenue. As she walked alone, near railroad tracks in an almost alley-type path, the two Hispanic men, possibly transients attacked her, police said. Around ½ mile into her walk, the teen was approached by the two suspects.
The two physically and sexually assaulted her in the area close to Minnie Street and East McFadden Avenue. The girl was taken to the hospital for treatment of head and other injuries resulting from the attack.
