YUCAIPA – A 16-year-old boy remains in stable condition following a shooting to his abdomen officials said.
On Saturday, July 14, 2018, at around 6:13 p.m. the black male teen from Desert Hot Springs who was suffering from the gunshot wound was dropped off behind the 7-Eleven store at Yucaipa Boulevard and 14th Street. It was learned that the two who had dropped him off, a black male and a black female were acquaintances to the teen. The unknown black male assisted the teen in getting out of the vehicle placing him on the ground behind the store and speeding off.
Emergency medical personnel and deputies from the Yucaipa Station responded to the scene. The teen was rushed to Loma Linda University Medical Center in stable condition. Authorities have no information about where the shooting took place.
