FONTANA – Three died during the Hard Summer Festival in Fontana over the weekend, officials said. The cause of the deaths are still yet to be determined but all three died after being transported to separate area hospitals. The Hard Summer Music Festival took place in the City of Fontana at the Auto Club Speedway on Saturday, July 20 to Sunday, July 21, 2016.
Over the weekend several were transported from the festival to the hospital authorities said. Three including, 22-year-old Derek Lee from San Francisco, 21-year-old Alyssa Dominguez from San Diego and 22-year-old Roxanne Ngo from Chino Hills died.
Lee died at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center on Sunday at 12:10 a.m., Dominguez died at Kaiser Foundation Hospital in Fontana at 2:10 a.m. on Sunday and Ngo at Loma Linda University Medical Center at 3:04 a.m. Monday morning.
Festival-goers blamed the heat and lack of planning for the deaths of the three deceased but all the deaths remain under investigation by the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department.
