ADELANTO – A male tow truck driver was robbed at gunpoint and cut on the face with a knife Friday night. The incident took place just before 8:00 p.m. on Bartlett Avenue just east of Stevens street.
The suspects, per scanner traffic, fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash that the victim said was his rent money. They left in an older silver Chevy Impala, eastbound on Bartlett toward highway 395. The victim told dispatchers that the assailants were two black men, one carrying a black handgun and the other carrying a knife.
The victim sustained only minor injuries and did not require medical transport according to the Victor Valley station watch commander.The suspects remain at large as of 9:15 p.m. Friday night.
