FONTANA – A 54-year-old Alta Loma man died Saturday evening after a motorcycle crash in Fontana San Bernardino County Coroner’s Department officials said.
At around 4:30 p.m. Joel Brian Mitchell was driving on the 210 west just east of Alder Avenue when a truck suddenly lost control striking Mitchell.
CHP officers were able to determine that a tire on the truck blew out causing the driver to lose control. Mitchell was transported to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center where he was pronounced dead just after 6:20 p.m.
The collision remains under investigation by the California Highway Patrol.
