VICTORVILLE – A Victorville woman and San Bernardino man are behind bars today after being caught with stolen vehicles Tuesday morning. At around 5:50 a.m. a deputy from the Victorville station witnessed two Honda Civics speeding into the desert from Midtown Drive.
The two vehicles then stopped in the desert on Civic Drive and Midtown Drive the man and woman driver, later identified as Jacovo Medina, 27 and Amy Yasenovsky, 29 got out of the vehicles. The two began transferring items from one vehicle to another.
The deputy made contact with the two and checked the records on both of the cars, which came back stolen. Yasenovsky and Medina both were also found to have suspended licenses and were booked into the High Desert Detention Center for grand theft auto.
