Two Burglary Suspects Who Burglarized Eight Bakersfield Business Locations Arrested

BAKERSFIELD, Ca. – Two serial burglary suspects were arrested in the City of Bakersfield during a Thursday-morning burglary spree.

Between 1:42 a.m. and 3:11 a.m. police responded to multiple burglary calls. When they arrived at one of the locations, police noticed that the windows of one of the locations had their windows smashed in. The burglaries took place at the following locations:

Just Wing It- 4837 Panama Lane

Sonic- 3220 Taft Highway

Wing Stop- 5620 Stockdale Highway

Too Fat Sandwiches- 5011 Stockdale Highway

Chipotle- 4850 Coffee Road, Suite A

Wing Stop- 4850 Coffee Road, Suite B

Subway- 3603 Coffee Road, Suite 300

Fuegos- 3603 Coffee Road, Suite 600

Two suspects fled from the Subway restaurant located at 3603 Coffee Road as the officers drove up the location. The officers pursued the suspects on foot and detained Shawn Ducreay, 23, and Hardy Moore, 20, shortly after. “The investigation led to probable cause to arrest both subjects for all eight burglaries, police officials said. “Ducreay was also linked to an additional burglary that occurred on September 2, 2019, to the Teriyaki Bowl, located at 6300 White Lane, Suite K, Bakersfield,” Police officials said.

Moore was arrested for eight counts of burglary and conspiracy and was booked into the Kern County jail. Ducreay was arrested for nine counts of burglary and conspiracy and was also booked into the Kern County jail.
