29 PALMS– Two career criminals were caught following a commercial burglary Monday night. At around 11:09 p.m. deputies responded to the 5000 block of Adobe Road in 29 Palms for the report of a burglary. When they arrived they immediately saw evidence of the forced entry into the Golden Barber.
The owner who was notified and arrived shortly after were able to show deputies surveillance footage of the suspects. The owner noticed that there were several electronic items missing from the location.
Through investigation, deputies determined that 23-year-old David Bangs and 39-year-old Jon Roy were involved in the burglary. When deputies made contact with them at 4561 Adobe Road they also located evidence including the stolen property. The two were arrested and booked into the Morongo Jail for commercial burglary.
