RIVERSIDE, Calif. – Riverside Police officers are investigating a shooting that occurred in the area of Iowa Avenue and Blaine Street on Sunday night.
At around 10:37 p.m. officers came across a shooting in progress. Two victims, both adults were struck by the gunfire and were rushed to a local hospital in stable condition. An officer-involved shooting occurred and the suspects were subsequently detained. At this time there is no additional information for release. The area will be closed in both directions for several hours while the incident is investigated.
