HIGHLAND – Two young men and one juvenile male were arrested near Church Street and Baseline on Friday. At around 1:30 a.m. the deputy from the Highland station stopped the vehicle for a speeding violation.
When the deputy made contact with the vehicle occupants he learned that the driver and front seat passenger, Steven Dominguez, 20 , and Jose Sanchez 19, were on felony probation. The rear passenger, a 17-year-old male was found to have a no-bail warrant.
All three were detained while the deputy searched the vehicle. In the glove compartment, an Air Soft gun with the orange tip removed was located. The two adults, Dominguez and Sanchez were arrested and booked into the Central Detention Center. The juvenile was booked into Juvenile Hall all for altering an imitation firearm.
All three were cited and released with no court dates scheduled.
