HESPERIA – The City of Hesperia announced on Friday that scheduled closures on Main Street will begin on Tuesday, April 11th. The closures will affect Main Street from Oakwood Avenue through La Junta Road, an approximate ½ mile stretch. The repairs will be done on Tuesday, April 11th through Wednesday, April 12th, both days from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
The closures are necessary for improvements being made to paving, signing, and striping. City officials stress that one lane will be open in both directions with intermittent closures to both lanes. Motorists should plan for delays and use alternate routes if possible.
