MORENO VALLEY – A Ford Mustang crashed into a Moreno Valley home trapping and killing a resident on Monday morning. At around 5:20 a.m., officers from the Moreno Valley Police Department, Moreno Valley Fire Department and paramedics responded to a major injury traffic collision in the 16000 block of Lake Victoria Drive.
Arriving only minutes later, the learned that a vehicle left the roadway crashing into a bedroom of the home subsequently trapping a woman underneath the vehicle. The woman died as a result of traumatic injuries. Authorities are not releasing the name of the woman at this time until family can be notified. It is not believed alcohol or drugs are a factor in the collision.
