VICTORVILLE – A 25-year-old Victorville man is behind bars after robbing In N Out on Thursday. At around 1:02 a.m. the masked and armed suspect walked into the In N Out located at 15290 Civic Drive.
Authorities said that the suspect entered the restaurant, went behind the counter, and while armed with a black handgun he demanded cash. He then ordered the employees to put their hands up as he left the location.
The reporting party, a drive-thru customer, said that the suspect who was wearing a gray t-shirt over his face like a mask, a gray hoodie, and black sweatpants fled east of the location on foot. An area search was done and a man, identified as Vontrell Lamarr Wynn, a Victorville transient was located behind the Food 4 Less Store located at 14738 La Paz Drive.
Wynn matched the suspect description and was later positively identified by the employees as the suspect. No weapon was recovered. Wynn was booked into the High Desert Detention Center for Robbery and a drug-related warrant. He is being held in lieu of $125,000 bail and is scheduled to appear at the Victorville Superior Court on Tuesday, May 30, 2017.
