VICTORVILLE – A 29-year-old Hispanic man was injured as a result of an altercation on Friday night authorities said.
On Friday, May 11, 2018, at around 11:55 p.m. deputies from the Victorville Station responded to Eva Dell Park, located in the 15700 block of First Street. The caller said that a victim was being assaulted with a deadly weapon and was injured. “Four unknown Hispanic male adults contacted the victim and one brandished a deadly weapon,” said Sergeant Marc Bracco. “The victim tried running away, but an altercation ensued.”
The victim was rushed to a local hospital for treatment of what appeared to be non-life-threatening injuries. According to authorities, the victim was uncooperative with the investigation and the reason for the altercation remains unknown. No suspects are identified or in custody at this time.
