ADELANTO – A 9-year-old boy suffered only minor injuries after being inside of a bounce house that became airborne on Saturday afternoon.
Deputies from the Victor Valley Station responded to Highway 395 and Bartlett Avenue in the City of Adelanto after learning that a bounce house had blown away from a home in the 18200 block of Delicious Avenue. “Inside the bounce house was a 9-year-old child,” said Sergeant Marc Bracco. “The child fell out of the bounce house after it had rolled onto Highway 395 and struck a vehicle that was traveling south on highway 395.”
The boy was transported to a local hospital for treatment. No other injuries were reported as a result of the incident.
