VICTORVILLE – A 39-year-old Victorville area transient was arrested for felony second-degree robbery after a Monday night incident.
Eldemando Rose, 39, walked into the AMPM store located in the 15400 block of Palmdale Road, near Park Avenue at around 11:00 p.m. and began yelling at the employee. As a result of his behavior, the employee asked him to leave. Rose left, but returned to the store again becoming confrontational.
“The employee was fearful he was going to physically harm her and ran behind the counter,” said Victorville Sheriff’s Station Spokeswoman Mara Rodriguez. “Rose left with unpaid merchandise.” Deputies arrived and found Rose nearby in possession of some of the stolen merchandise. He was booked into the High Desert Detention Center for Robbery and Panhandling.
