APPLE VALLEY – An Apple Valley man is behind bars today after leading deputies on a high-speed chase on a stolen motorcycle. On the evening of Wednesday, April 4, 2018, an Apple Valley Station deputy recognized a motorcycle that had been reported stolen from an Apple Valley home, The deputy attempted to stop the Honda CVR6oo motorcycle in the area of Central and State Highway 18. The rider who was already riding the blue Honda motorcycle at high speeds failed to yield and sped away.
“Due to the extreme speeds the suspect was traveling, Evans requested assistance from Sheriff’s Aviation, which allowed pursuing deputies to follow in a safe manner,” Apple Valley Sheriff’s Station officials said.
